This article rethinks the concept of news in liquid, convergent and mediated society. It evidences that the new media ecology unbalances the classic production- reception binomial of news vertically mediated by journalists and transfers the tonic for the circulation. It is no longer enough just publishing: news must be filtered by interactors, reelaborated, recommended for social networks of digital platforms. Throughout the process, the news gets a double status: the statement in its original place of posting and flows established between the plural spaces that fall within the circuit of online news. The sum of these flows results in the characterization of the liquid news.
