"Over the last six years, the World TV landscape has been completely transformed, with the takeoff of digital television, and especially the development of 55 DTH platforms. The unprecedented boom of satellite TV channels, from around 1,500 in 1995 to more than 9,000 in 2002, accompagnied by a boom in content creation, have modified the consumption habits of TV viewers. With 110 million DTH subscribers expected by 2010, serverd by more than 30,00 channels, the current revolution is far from over.
For the first time, an in depth survey offers a comprehensive World analysis of the satellite television services:
- Growth and economic sustainability of DTH platforms worldwide
