The objective was to assess the access to the film works in their collections in the context of education and research. 32 Film Heritage Institutions (FHIs) out of the 44 ACE members, representing collections of over 1.1 million film works, completed the survey."

L’Observatoire européen de l’audiovisuel annonce sa conférence de Cannes !L’Observatoire européen de l’audiovisuel consacre sa conférence de Cannes à l’exportation des films européens. Le titre de la conférence est Ticket to Ride! Qu’est-ce qui fait voyager les films européens ? Pour assister à cet événement vous devrez traverser la route - comme nos Fab Four de l’Observatoire - pour vous rendre au cinéma Olympia, 7 rue d’Antibes, Cannes. Rendez-vous le samedi 14 mai pour assister à notre conférence de 9h30 à 11h30 ! Programme à télécharger ici.
Nos experts se pencheront sur trois aspects de l’exportation des films européens : l’importance des films européens en dehors de leurs marchés nationaux, ce qui fait voyager les films européens à succès et comment les plateformes numériques ouvrent des possibilités d’exportation. Cette année, figureront parmi les intervenants Stefano Massenzi, Head of Acquisitions and Business Affairs chez Lucky Red (producteur associé de 'This must be the place', 'Le ruban blanc' et 'Funny Games'), Daniela Elstner, Présidente de l’ADEF - Association des Exportateurs de Films, et Ed Guiney de la société irlandaise Element Pictures (producteur du film oscarisé 'Room', 'The Lobster' et 'Frank').
L’équipe de l’Observatoire, constituée de Maja Cappello, Responsable du Département Informations juridiques et de Martin Kanzler, Analyste cinéma, présentera des données et des analyses sur l’industrie cinématographique européenne. Le maître de cérémonie sera Michael Gubbins de SampoMedia.
Susanne Nikoltchev, Directrice exécutive de l’Observatoire, a souligné que cette conférence « new-look » sera organisée dans une nouvelle salle "afin de répondre à la demande croissante de places supplémentaires".
